Freight visibility platform without an enterprise contract
ShipmentVisibility is a freight visibility platform for mid-sized shippers, importers and 3PLs who need to see every load, container and air waybill in one place but do not want a six month rollout. Add PRO numbers, container numbers, air waybills and parcel numbers, and you get live milestones, a predicted ETA with a confidence range, and alerts when something goes wrong. Every plan has a public price and self-serve checkout.
One view across every mode
Freight rarely moves on one mode. A purchase order leaves Asia in a container, crosses the country on an LTL carrier and reaches the customer as parcels. ShipmentVisibility tracks each leg by its own number and shows it in one list with the same milestone language.
- Ocean containers by ISO 6346 number or bill of lading: vessel departure, transshipment, port arrival, discharge, gate out, empty return
- LTL by PRO number: picked up, at origin terminal, in transit, at destination terminal, out for delivery, delivered with POD
- FTL loads: dispatched, at pickup, in transit, at delivery appointment, delivered
- Air cargo by air waybill: booked, departed, arrived, ready for pickup
- Parcels from UPS, FedEx and USPS in the same list
| Shipment | Mode | Carrier | Lane | Last event | ETA | Status |

A real time transportation visibility platform built from carrier events
Visibility is only useful when it is current. We pull status from carriers, ocean lines and airlines as events happen and normalize them into milestones, so "AT DEST TERMINAL", "Arrived at delivery terminal" and "DTA" all read the same on your screen. You see the latest event, the time it happened, the location and the next expected milestone for every shipment, without logging into a single carrier portal.
- Latest event and location on every row of the shipment list
- Map and milestone timeline for each shipment
- Shipments with no update for a set period flagged as stale
Predicted ETA you can plan dock appointments on
On Growth and higher, each shipment carries a predicted ETA with a confidence range rather than a single date that turns out wrong. The prediction moves as events arrive: a missed transshipment, a long dwell at an LTL terminal or a late vessel arrival changes the window, and you get an alert when it does. Receiving teams plan labor and appointments on the window, and customer service quotes it instead of the original promise.
Exceptions that reach the right person
An exception is any event that puts the delivery date at risk. ShipmentVisibility separates them from routine scans and routes them by email on every plan, and by Slack and webhooks on Growth and higher.
- LTL: OS&D reported, appointment required, refused, delivery rescheduled, long terminal dwell
- Ocean: rolled to a later vessel, transshipment delay, container on hold, last free day approaching (Pro)
- Air: offloaded, missed connection, partial shipment received
- Parcel: address issue, failed delivery attempt, return to sender
Carrier scorecards that settle the conversation
On Pro and Enterprise, every delivered shipment feeds carrier on-time scorecards at lane level. You see which carrier delivers on time between which origin and destination, how often each lane runs late and how long freight dwells at terminals. That gives procurement facts for the next bid and gives operations a reason to move volume off a lane that keeps missing. Read carrier on-time performance for how to read the numbers.
How it compares with enterprise visibility suites
Large visibility suites are built for global shippers with dedicated project teams. They are thorough, but they usually start with a sales process, a negotiated quote, carrier onboarding and an implementation that runs for months. ShipmentVisibility is built for teams that need answers this week.
| Question | Typical enterprise suite | ShipmentVisibility |
|---|---|---|
| How do I buy it | Sales calls and a negotiated contract | Public price and self-serve checkout on every plan |
| How long is setup | An implementation project | Paste numbers or upload a CSV and start |
| Do carriers need onboarding | Often, per carrier | No, numbers are tracked as you add them |
| Is there a contract | Usually multi-year | Monthly or yearly subscription |
| What does it cover | All modes, deep customization | Parcel, LTL, FTL, ocean and air with a fixed feature set per plan |
If you need SSO, roles, an audit log, an uptime SLA and invoice billing, Enterprise includes them at $1,499 per month, or $749 per month billed yearly, with no sales call.
Who uses a freight visibility platform like this
Shippers with a logistics team of a few people, importers who manage containers and drayage, ecommerce brands that ship pallets to retailers, and 3PLs and forwarders who need to show clients where their freight is. Pro adds client sub-accounts so a 3PL can give each client its own view. For a buying checklist, see supply chain visibility software. For single modes, see ltl tracking, container tracking and air cargo tracking. To connect your systems, see shipment tracking integrations.
Freight visibility platform questions
Do I need to sign a contract or go through a sales process?
No. Every plan, Enterprise included, has a public price and self-serve checkout. You can pay monthly or yearly, and yearly saves 50 percent.
Which modes and carriers are covered?
Parcel, LTL, FTL, ocean container and air cargo. That includes major US parcel carriers, national and regional LTL carriers such as ODFL, Estes, Saia and XPO, ocean lines such as Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd and ONE, and airlines by their air waybill prefix.
How is the predicted ETA shown?
As a delivery window with a confidence range, available on Growth and higher. The window updates as new events arrive, and you receive an alert when it changes.
How fast can we start?
As soon as your account is open. Paste numbers or upload a CSV and the carrier is detected for each one. Integrations with Shopify, ERPs and the REST API are optional.
Can a 3PL give clients their own view?
Yes, on Pro and Enterprise. Client sub-accounts let each client see only its own shipments.
